Pebble House

Project Overview

Set into a steep hillside in Pemberton, British Columbia, Pebble House is a 4,000 square foot retreat oriented toward expansive views of Mount Currie. The home is conceived as a series of layered forms that step with the terrain, allowing the architecture to hover above the landscape while maintaining a strong sense of elevation and outlook.

The home was designed to meet Passive House Plus standards, producing more energy than it consumes. Achieving this level of performance required high-efficiency building assemblies, airtight construction, and careful coordination between structure, envelope, and mechanical systems. These elements were integrated without compromising the architectural expression of the house.
